The YJA shuttle picks up from Terminal C Baggage Claim / Ground Transportation. Look for a bus with a paper sign in the front window that reads “YJA 26,” and volunteers holding YJA signs near the airport exit to help guide you.
If you land at Terminal C
- Follow signs for Baggage Claim / Ground Transportation and make your way outside through Door 6 at the end of the terminal.
- Look for pickup spot #7, labeled “Shared Ride Services, Marriott Hotel, and Off-Airport Parking.”
- Find the YJA shuttle bus, marked “YJA 26” in the front window, or ask one of the volunteers with YJA signs to point you to it.
If you land at Terminal A
Terminal A is not connected directly to Terminal C, so you’ll need to take the free AirTrain to get there first.
- Follow the overhead signs for “Baggage Claim / Ground Transportation” and take the escalator or elevator down to the Arrivals Level (Level 1). Continue following signs for “AirTrain Shuttle” — do not follow signs for taxis, rideshare, or parking.
- Exit the terminal through the doors marked for Ground Transportation and look for the free AirTrain Shuttle Bus stop, clearly marked for the AirTrain Station. It runs about every 5–10 minutes from 4:00 AM until 11:59 PM.
- Board the shuttle and ride it to the Terminal A AirTrain Station (near the Terminal A parking garage/rental car area) — about a 5-minute ride in normal traffic.
- At the station, follow signs to the AirTrain platform. There’s no fare to travel between terminals, and staff in red “Newark Airport” polos with iPads can help point you the right way.
- Board the next AirTrain heading toward Terminal C and stay on until you hear and see “Terminal C.” Trains typically run every 3–5 minutes during the day (every 15 minutes overnight).
- Exit the train at Terminal C and follow the overhead signs for “Terminal C” into the terminal building.
- Continue toward Baggage Claim / Ground Transportation, then make your way outside through Door 6 at the end of the terminal.
- If you take the shuttle bus between terminals instead of the AirTrain, continue walking to the end of the same block once you arrive at Terminal C.
- Look for pickup spot #7, labeled “Shared Ride Services, Marriott Hotel, and Off-Airport Parking,” and find the YJA shuttle bus marked “YJA 26” in the front window.
These directions will be updated with more detail and photos as we get closer to Convention. If you need help finding your shuttle, email help@yja.org.
Amtrak / NJ Transit Option
Local to the Mid-Atlantic? Attendees may also travel to Convention by taking Amtrak or NJ Transit to New Brunswick Station.
New Brunswick Station is approximately a 6-minute walk from the Hyatt Regency New Brunswick, located at Two Albany Street, New Brunswick, NJ 08901. After arriving at the station, attendees can choose to walk, take an Uber/Lyft, or arrange another form of transportation to the hotel, depending on luggage, weather, and personal preference.
For attendees flying into Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) outside of Convention shuttle running times, NJ Transit may also be an alternate option. Attendees can take the AirTrain from their terminal to the Newark Liberty International Airport Rail Station, then take NJ Transit toward New Brunswick Station. Attendees should check the NJ Transit app/schedules and purchase their own tickets before traveling.
Please note that Convention shuttles will not be running from New Brunswick Station, so attendees using Amtrak or NJ Transit are responsible for getting from the station to the hotel. Registration will occur at the Hyatt Regency New Brunswick, so attendees should arrive there directly.
