Transportation to/from Signia by Hilton Atlanta (Convention Hotel)

  1. Complimentary shuttles will be running from the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) to the Signia by Hilton Atlanta between 9:00 am - 9:00 pm, with a bus departing every 20 to 30 minutes.
  2. Shuttles will be picking up attendees at the South Terminal Baggage Claim. The Shuttle will be waiting at the Lower Level, Doorway S6.
  3. A YJA Convention Committee member or Adult Volunteer will be stationed at Door S6 until 5:00 PM to help guide attendees to the shuttles.
Detailed Directions to South Baggage Claim:
  1. Once you deplane your flight, take the Plane Train within the airport to go to the Baggage Claim. This is the last stop on the train (after Terminal T).
  2. Deboard the train and take the escalator up towards Baggage Claim.
  3. If you checked-in a bag, pick up your checked baggage from your respective terminal, either North or South. If you pick up your bag in the North Terminal, walk across the Atrium and proceed to the South Terminal. You should see an Adult Volunteer holding a sign in the Atrium.
  4. Navigate to Doorway S6 in the South Terminal. You should see an Adult Volunteer holding a sign at the door.
  5. Head outside and wait for the shuttle bus, which will have a YJA sign on it.

We have complimentary shuttle buses for attendees to ride to and from the ATL airport. Please note that these times are subject to change due to traffic. We anticipate departures will take place within ±10 minutes of the scheduled times below. Attendees will be responsible for their own transportation outside of these times.

Buses

  1. All buses to/from ATL will be 54-person motor coaches. The buses will be silver, have “Academy” written on the side in black, and will have YJA custom signage on the windows.
  2. All tips and tolls are pre-paid. Do NOT have attendees tip the drivers.

Driving (Drop-Off) Instructions

If you plan to get a ride to Convention, here are instructions on where to get dropped off.

Please arrive at the main entrance and enter the roundabout in front of the hotel. We request that you unload and depart from the drop-off area within 5 minutes, as there will be many cars flowing in and out at the hotel entrance.

Parking

Parking is not complimentary at the hotel. We encourage you to carpool with those attending Convention around you or get dropped off at the hotel if you are local. If you need to purchase parking for the weekend, please email transportation.atl@yja.org for further information.
